Welcome Back
After the summer holiday break, the Beanokru website is returning and if I do so myself, is better than ever. Over the past six weeks we have made some changes. we have the following new features:-:
A new Great Debate
A list of Beanokru members
Random photos of the Kru
A Beanokru dictionary
New site of the month
New Gimp of the month
Random Rant
You can now also search our site or the rest of the web on the Links page
A Gimp counter (only a Gimp would click here)
And possibly the best new feature; an emergency link on every page. Let me set the scene. You are supposed to be doing work in the library during a lesson. However you are bored and decide to take a break and visit your favourite website (this one). But oh no! Disaster. Unknown to you a teacher or worse the librarian has sneaked up on you and want's to know what you are doing. However thanks to the Emergency link you no longer need to worry about such an occurence. Because by clicking on the emergency link which can be found at the bottom of each page, you will be taken immediatly to a model essay at the educational website www.revise.it; at least you probably will, because the Beanokru website don't like to give you anything, we have thrown in a few links you certainly wouldn't like to be seen. These rogue sites have been created by the Beanokru website for your amusment.
We also hope to get a new address over the next few weeks, but more of that later.
A week of parties
The last week (17 September to 24th) has been a week of parties, gatherings and gigs for Beanokru members. First up on Monday was the 6th form party, the less said the better, then moving onto Thursday there was the VI gig at Magdalins, Donny rocked as VI performed there usual classics as well as some of their own tunes. Ginner was most pleased as See the light was dedicated to him. Swiftly moving on and Saturday night saw the return of Fructidor to its spiritual home at BiG Pete's house. East Intake shuck as what Ginner described as "....the most fantastic thing you ever heard" banged out from the party. Anyway more of that when a review is finally written on the Fructidor page.
However the amount of parties shows no sing of slowing down as it is the year of 18th birthdays and dates for Alex's (Sunny's bitch), Fake ID's and Ginners are already confrimed.
Some brief news
-As I write this on Sunday night (23rd) the Beanokru has had 995 visitors and we are currently getting about 10 hits a day, so the 1000th visitor can't be far away.
-The Beanokru is also planning a full review of members, with popularity going through the roof and some members going out of line something has to be done, you have been warned, so buck up your ideas or face the wrath of Beano.
-On a lighter note, I am are also contemplating changing the name of the site to Beano's egotrip as I feel it would be a much more approapriate name.
Emergency links have been placed on every page, because we realise that many of our loyal followers browse the site at school when they should be working. So if a teacher sneaks up on you wanting to know what you are doing, simply go to the bottom of the page and click on the Emergency link. You will immeadiately be taken to an educational site....probably.....because just for the sheer fun of it, the Beanokru website have developed some rogue sites which you certainly wouldn't like to be seen at.
