Happy Summer!
Hmm doesn't quite have the same ring as happy new year. But it is the summer which means the Beano Kru website gets very few updates and even fewer visitors. However don't despair we will be back in September, I can't guarantee it will be better, it fact it will almost certainly be worse as it is hard to improve perfection ha...ha...ha!
Anyway I'll make a real effort to update the site with lots of new stuff, because since Christmas the site has been pretty shambolic. Incidentally if you have any good ideas for the site don't hesitate to e-mail them to me. Anyway I'm rambling a bit and the desperation for new ideas is becoming a bit too obvious so see you soon, have a good summer.
P.S. Please take a look at the BK Shop, the bill has just come through for another year of hosting the site and to cover the cost over 100 CDs would have to bought from the BK Shop through the Amazon link to cover the cost. I don't want to bang on about this but if you are buying something from the internet, please use the links on this website to enter the shops, which will generate some cash, all of which goes directly into the running of the site. We're Back!!!
Hope everyone had a fantastic summer, now back to the hard work of uni or easy work depends how you look at it. But that doesn't matter because the really important news is the Beano Kru Webite is back, yes your life is worth living again. We've had a bit of a re-design and a few new things have been added which are listed below and read on to find out about up and coming things on this website.
New Stuff:
BK Records - Listen to music made by BK members and post your own creations.
BK Games - A much improved section full of games and links which will help you cope during the boredom of essays.
Watch out because around the end of September the life of the Beano Kru Website will take an unusual twist. There might also be news of a little excursion which is currently in the early stages of planning. All will be revealed later. Meanwhile enjoy the new stuff, keep posting on the message board, there will be a BK Chat sometime and tell people who haven't visited the site in ages about how great it is, so we can get it like it used to be.
